What makes this rink distinctive

A Village-run winter tradition in the heart of Midtown Ruidoso: the same recurring Wingfield Park rink, set among the village’s shops, restaurants and coffee stops, with a free locals’ day tradition in past seasons and a Christmas in the Park tree lighting at the park on December 3, 2026. It is a straightforward municipal rink — real ice, published prices, and a posted capacity — rather than a resort attraction, which makes it an easy add to a ski or mountain getaway.
