What makes this rink distinctive

Cloudcroft’s rink enters a new era: after years as the Southwest’s natural-ice rink, disrupted in 2025–26 by village water restrictions, it returns for 2026–27 as a rebuilt refrigerated rink under Southwest Sports Solutions of El Paso, with a new ice plant and flooring, dasher boards, a Zamboni and LED lighting at 8,650 feet in the Sacramento Mountains. The rink hosts the Cloudcroft Sasquatch club — learn-to-skate, youth and adult hockey, figure skating and the Mountain Top Classic 8-and-under tournament — in a village-center park an easy walk from Burro Avenue shops.
