Plan your visit

The Rotary Ice Rink at Travis Park is downtown San Antonio’s long-running outdoor holiday rink, operating since 2019 beside the 50-foot H-E-B Christmas tree. The 2026–27 season dates, admission, rental terms and hours have not been published yet, so check the operator site before going. Announcements historically land mid-November, which is the moment this listing should convert from established-unannounced to confirmed. Prior-season prices are deliberately not carried forward.

What makes this rink distinctive

A charity rink in the heart of downtown: the Rotary Club of San Antonio’s rink takes over a quadrant of Travis Park each holiday season, with themed nights, food trucks and movie nights in prior seasons, and proceeds funding Rotary scholarships for local students and playgrounds at underserved schools — $175,000 given back in the two years to December 2023, per Rotary District 5840. Operated in prior seasons by Ice Rink Events, the same operator family behind the Temple and Dripping Springs listings. San Antonio’s first directory listing.
