Plan your visit

The operating window is set by the city’s agreement: November 27, 2026 through January 5, 2027, with installation November 23–27. Daily hours for 2026–27 had not been published on the Ranch Park pages when checked, so confirm them before going. Prior-season tickets were $15 for 75 minutes including skates — that figure is not carried forward; check the official site for current prices. The rink is covered, so it runs rain or shine, and the Trail of Lights and holiday market around it are free.

What makes this rink distinctive

One of the best-documented rinks in Texas: the city council’s June 2026 staff report and signed agreement spell out a 60-by-120-foot rink with a refrigeration system, modular piping grid and resurfacer, and the Ranch Park FAQ answers “Our ice rink is 60ft x 120ft and made of REAL ice!” Sundays open with an All Ability Skate hour for skaters with physical or developmental challenges.
