Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink returns for the 2026–27 season in downtown Grand Rapids. Skating runs in 90-minute sessions: Sunday–Thursday noon–1:30, 2–3:30, 4–5:30 and 6–7:30 PM, with Friday–Saturday sessions additionally at 10–11:30 AM and 8–9:30 PM. Adults are $6 and youth 17 and under are $3, with skate rentals included and skating aides free. The city has not yet posted a 2026–27 opening date, so check the city page before going. What makes this rink distinctive
A downtown plaza rink designed by artist Maya Lin’s team: the plaza’s refrigeration system works in a balanced system with a snow-melt system, and the rink runs 90-minute sessions with rentals included in the $6 adult and $3 youth admission.
