Plan your visit

The Frankenmuth Ice Rink skates in Edwin L. Zehnder Park, in the heart of downtown, from November 17, 2026 through February 28, 2027. November and December hours are Monday–Thursday 4–9 PM, Friday–Saturday 11 AM–10 PM and Sunday 11 AM–9 PM; January and February 2027 hours are still to be announced. Admission is $10, skate rentals are $3 and a season pass is $50. Note the hours conflict on the source page: its events-calendar block shows a different pattern (Monday–Thursday 4–8 PM, Friday 4–9 PM, Saturday noon–9 PM, Sunday noon–8 PM), so confirm before going. One travel guide lists 959 Flint St for the same park; the Mill Street and Main Street address governs.

What makes this rink distinctive

A downtown rink with its own chiller: the Zehnder Park surface stays skateable even when conditions are less than perfect, in the middle of Frankenmuth’s Christmas Experience. At 60 by 120 feet it is just slightly smaller than an official-size hockey rink, and weekly theme nights run January through February 2027.
