Plan your visit
The WWII Veterans War Memorial Ice Skating Rink in Clove Lakes Park is Staten Island’s outdoor rink. NYC Parks says it will reopen in mid-fall, but the Parks page still shows 2023–24 season details and no dated 2026–27 opening, prices, or hours — call 718-720-1010 before going. A 2026 guide describes November-through-March skating with Friday-evening and weekend hours. Note the caveat: the city’s 2025 concession notice for operating the rink says site conditions require remediation, with a capital-needs survey underway.
What makes this rink distinctive
The only outdoor rink on Staten Island, per a 2026 guide, with a snack bar at the rink and a skating school on site. Not the same-named rink in North Adams, Massachusetts.
