What makes this rink distinctive
A wave pool becomes a rink: Wilderness floods 3,200 square feet of its outdoor wave pool and freezes it into what the resort calls “a magical, real ice skating rink,” then programs it hard — live DJs every Friday and Saturday night, Santa on Ice through December 23, a New Year’s Eve skate until 12:30 AM, beginner-friendly Monty’s Youth Skate on Saturday mornings, and Knoxville youth hockey games on December 5.
Official tickets and session information
Schedules, prices and closures can change. Check the venue's own site before setting out.
Season status: November 6–8, then daily November 13 – January 3, and again January 8–10, per the operator blog (published September 21, 2026, updated October 14, 2026); gaps November 9–12 and January 4–7 are stated, not smoothed over. Real ice in the operator’s own words: “transforming 3,200 square feet of our outdoor wave pool into a magical, real ice skating rink.”
