The Westfield Rink opens its 2026–27 season on October 31, 2026, and skates late October through early March at Gumbert Park. The rink is a full-size NHL-regulation surface with public sessions, learn-to-skate and open hockey, plus hockey and figure skate rentals for youth through adult. All skaters must pre-register through the rink’s Bond Sports portal, and food trucks are on site on weekends. Admission and rental prices were not posted at listing time, so check the operator site before going.

What makes this rink distinctive

A community rink serving Union County since 2018, skating under a tent at Gumbert Park — across from the Garwood ShopRite on North Avenue. Note the address: the operator site gives 650 Fourth Ave, its own description places the rink on North Avenue, and a February 2026 police report locates it at Gumbert Park on South Chestnut Street. The park sits at that corner area; the operator’s Fourth Avenue address governs.
