What makes this rink distinctive

A trail, not an oval: the Ribbon is a 1,000-foot loop with rolling hills and soft curves along the Maumee riverfront, plus a separate 5,000-square-foot pond for beginners. The trail is refrigerated in winter, with fourteen miles of tubing under the pavement supplying refrigerant to the surface, and a Zamboni keeps it smooth.
