Admission is $12 per skater with skates included, and skate aids are $5; parking is free nearby. Every skater must sign a waiver before entering — do it online in advance to skip the check-in line. Sessions are first-come, first-served and can fill at peak times. Hours follow the Temple school calendar and were still to be announced on the operator page; the rink is open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
What makes this rink distinctive
Billed by the city as Central Texas’s largest outdoor ice rink, made entirely of real ice, with a railroad-heritage theme that nods to Temple’s railroad history — and a themed skate night almost every night, from Northern Lights Disco to Two for Twenty Tuesdays.
