Plan your visit
Public skating runs most days from October 24, 2026 through March 7, 2027, in two daily blocks on weekends. Weekday late-morning sessions (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) are adults only. Monday evenings are Dollar Night and Saturdays carry a Dollar Day session. Rentals are $3, in figure and hockey styles, and are disinfected after each use. The schedule shifts during the Christmas and February school-vacation weeks — the town advises calling 802-257-2311 to confirm before you go. Season passes are sold at the Recreation & Parks office, 207 Main Street.
What makes this rink distinctive
This is a working municipal rink, not a holiday pop-up: the town runs a full community program on the covered outdoor ice — stick time three days a week, Sunday-morning speed skating, group and adult lessons, and a $120 birthday-party package that includes admission and rentals for ten kids. When the ice comes out, the same facility hosts roller skating in the off-season. At $5 for a resident adult ($6 non-resident), it is some of the least expensive public skating in New England.
