Plan your visit

Millcreek Common’s Skate Loop is an 11,000-plus-square-foot loop at Millcreek’s new city center, converting from roller skating (April–October) to ice (November–March). The 2026–27 ice dates and prices have not been published yet, so check the operator site before going; do not use summer roller prices as ice prices, and do not treat the third-party November 20 “Ice Skating Is Back” claim as confirmed — the operator calendar shows events only through November 1.

What makes this rink distinctive

A city-center loop built as a permanent refrigerated ribbon — refrigerant pipes every three inches under the surface — that doubles as the town’s roller rink in summer. DJ skate nights, a public market, fire tables and a climbing wall make it Millcreek’s gathering place, not just a rink.

Refrigeration from builder Hogan Construction (refrigerant pipes every three inches through the 11,725-square-foot rink), corroborated by the City of Millcreek’s 2021 ice-resurfacer purchase; return from the Cottonwood Heights Journal (June 2026: ice ribbon “will return in November”) and Visit Utah (“Opens in November”); loop hours and address from the operator homepage. 2026–27 ice dates and prices unpublished; the third-party November 20 claim is not published.
