Plan your visit
Public skating is first come, first served with no reservations, so arrive early on December weekends. Groups of 10+ get a small rate break outside the holiday blackout dates; lessons run through the rink's skating school.
What makes this rink distinctive
Included as a deliberate exception to our seasonal-outdoor focus: the rink itself runs year-round, but from late November the 95-foot Christmas tree — billed as the nation's tallest indoor tree — rises from the center of the ice, and skating around it is a Dallas holiday institution. Dorothy Hamill performed here when the Galleria opened in 1982.
