Plan your visit
Classic Rink opens its 2026–27 public skates on Friday, October 23, 2026, weather permitting, and skates through March 7, 2027. Regular sessions run Friday and Saturday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons, with additional holiday skates on the facility calendar; winter recess dates were still to come at listing time. Admission is $7 with $5 skate rentals, and rentals are first come first served from about 200 pairs — arrive early for weekend night skates.
What makes this rink distinctive
A nonprofit village rink run by the Aurora Ice Association, open-air under a roof with a warming lodge. Its rink and chiller came from the NHL's inaugural Winter Classic at Ralph Wilson Stadium in 2008, carried 10 miles east to East Aurora — the venue USA Hockey calls The Healthy Zone Rink. Note the name: aggregator listings calling it The Healthy Zone Rink are the same venue, not a second rink.
